About mangusta
The newest generation of Italian shipbuilders is filled with skilled craftsmen and brilliant designers who were born to make waves in the luxury yacht industry. While the yachting industry includes legendary shipyards with 100 or more years of experience, younger companies like Mangusta bring fresh energy and new vision.
Born in 1985, Mangusta set out to challenge the best yacht builders on the sea by merging function and form. By introducing the Mangusta 80 in the early 1990s, Mangusta’s Balducci family created a new breed of open yacht at a time when no vessel similar in size could match its performance.
The Mangusta 80 gave boat owners a new option that created space and comfort in a fast, sporty, open yacht – eliminating the need to compromise between speed and comfort.
Today, with 10 production facilities around Tuscany, Italy, Mangusta continues to create a series of design and engineering dream machines capable of challenging the status quo. With the Maxi Open models, Mangusta continues to offer a line of fast, comfortable yachts from 104 feet to 165 feet in length. With waterjet propulsion, Maxi Open yachts can reach speeds up to 37 knots.
On the other end of the spectrum, Mangusta’s Oceano line of 40 to 60-meter tri-deck yachts are engineering marvels with a range of up to 5000 miles making them capable of oceanic crossings.
For those who want the best of both worlds, the Gran Sport line offers a fast-displacement hull while still enabling long-range adventures in a vessel with unmatched style and comfort.
Mangusta – Reaching beyond technical boundaries to shape your dreams at sea.
