About azimut

separator

Matching bold design and nautical innovation with sustainable, eco-conscious build and business practices, Azimut has been a leader in the international yachting world for more than 50 years.

Headquartered in Turin, Italy, Azimut Yachts was founded in 1969 by grad student Paolo Vitelli, who turned a sailing charter business into one of the most widely recognized and respected brands in the luxury yacht market.

Through partnerships with a long list of outstanding nautical designers including Alberto Mancini, Ken Freivokh, and even the legendary Pininfarina, Azimut Yachts has constantly evolved to embrace innovative new designs and features while maintaining its reputation for beauty and style.

Azimut’s lineup includes the 45-foot Atlantis and 42-foot outboard-powered Verve sport cruisers, the contemporary lines of the mid-range S and Fly series in models from 60 to 94-feet in length, and culminates with the unique, sophisticated long-range capable Magellano and the award-winning 125-foot Grande Trideck blue water yachts.

As part of the company’s commitment to their eco-conscious evolution, several new models include onboard air and water treatment and Azimut’s innovative Hotel Mode, which reduces – or even eliminates – reliance on a running generator when the boat is at anchor.

Azimut’s triple-pod propulsion and extensive use of carbon fiber lamination on many models provides an increase in strength and speed, reduced weight, and a lower center of gravity while also lowering fuel consumption and roll. The innovative design also provides a dramatic, main speed reduction in CO2 emissions.

Azimut – Navigating toward a sustainable future with a design forward focus on innovation and style.
