IYG in Cannes: The New Yachts to See at the 2026 Yachting Festival

|

The Cannes Yachting Festival is one of the yachting world’s most important shows. Here are some of our favorite new yachts that will be on display.

It’s that time of year again. The Cannes Yachting Festival is right around the corner, running from September 8th to 13th. Europe’s premier show for yachts under 50 meters takes place in one of the world’s most glamorous cities right as the weather turns to perfection. It’s a marquee event in the yachting world for very good reason, and this year IYG is particularly excited about a number of yachts that will be making much-anticipated appearances there. Let’s have a look at some of the stars of the show.

Azimut Grande 44M: Azimut’s New 143-Foot Flagship

This new entry from the Italian boatbuilding giant will actually enjoy its own private preview in nearby Antibes. The 44M will take the mantle as Azimut’s flagship with a length overall of 143 feet, 10 inches and a GT sliding in just under 500. Her carbon-fiber superstructure helps keep her light and with a low center of gravity, while a sturdy GRP hull is solid as a rock. A four-deck layout is unusual in this size and class and creates loads of entertainment space and private nooks for intimate conversation. She also sleeps ten in five staterooms, highlighted by an opulent, full-beam master. Engines are twin MANs rated at either 1,550-horsepower or 1,800-horsepower.

Baglietto DOM133 Andala: High-Style Design Built for Charter

Andala is the eighth hull in the DOM133 series and was actually delivered last July to a very happy owner. As one might expect from Baglietto, she flashes high style with exteriors penned by Stefano Vafiadis and interiors done by Giorgio M. Cassetta. The yacht is expertly set up for communing with the marine environment thanks to multiple flip-down terraces, sole-to-ceiling windows, and pools both at her bow and stern. She rides on a rugged steel hull and is powered by twin Caterpillar engines that offer a respectable top end of 17 knots. This Baglietto also sleeps 10 in five staterooms, with a full-beam master on the main deck and an interesting triple VIP setup down below (plus one twin cabin). Notably this accommodations choice should make her shine on the charter market.

ISA Viper 130: A Flybridge Yacht Built for Speed

The ISA Viper 130 is a flybridge motoryacht with lines by Fulvio di Simoni and a strong focus on performance. How strong, you might be asking? Well, her top end is 35 knots and she cruises at 26 knots thanks to triple 2,200-horsepower MAN engines matched to two waterjets and an MJP booster. This yacht features an exquisite aft end designed for relaxing. The cockpit has a lounge with a sofa, coffee table, and sunpad, while a separate adjacent area has an alfresco dining table for eight. A large beach club features a transformer that can either ease entry into the water or act as a diving platform.

Custom Line Navetta 35: A World Premier Ready for the Bahamas

This world premier is the latest addition in Custom Line’s ever-popular Navetta series. Envisioned as the replacement for the Navetta 33, the 35 offers a tad more space in a very versatile package. The yacht has classic lines by Filippo Salvetti and interiors by ACPV Architects that should speak to a broad range of clientele. Base 1,400-horsepower MANs offer a top end of 15 knots and a cruise of 12 knots, while larger, optional Caterpillars offer a bit more oomph. Like her sister ships, the Navetta 35 is an excellent Bahamas boat owing to a shallow draft that allows her to get in and out of the skinny-water anchorages those islands are known for. A popular hangout space is sure to be the 624-square-foot sundeck, which is available with an optional pool.

Riva 96 Argo Super: The Next-Generation Argo, Built for Beach Club Living

Here’s another world premier, this one from Riva. The 96 Argo Super launched this past July in La Spezia, Italy, and should make quite an impression on the docks at Cannes. The 96 builds on the popular 90 Argo platform, offering more interior space and a focus on more natural light that evinces itself in the large windows seen throughout the yacht. The Argo offers a very sleek silhouette floating on a sturdy aluminum hull. Another focal point of the design was the beach club. There, a large hydraulic swim platform can drop directly into the water, allowing easy access for swimmers. A sprawling sunpad on the garage door is the ultimate place for sunbathing as well. The garage conceals a Williams 435 RIB and a PWC that make frolicking in the waves and getting to and from small islands a blast.

Azimut Seadeck 9: Azimut’s Hybrid Flagship for Sustainable Cruising

This new offering from Azimut is the flagship in the Italian builder’s eco-focused Seadeck line. The yacht features a GRP hull, carbon-fiber superstructure, and decks made of reconstituted cork instead of teak. The Seadeck 9 has triple Volvo Penta IPS1350 diesel-electric hybrid pods rated at 1,000-horsepower a piece. Those powerplants give her a dashing top end of 28 knots and a cruise speed of about 24 knots. Notably—and despite these speeds—the Seadeck 9 still operates with a CO2-emission rating at 40% less than competitors. But this yacht is not only focused on the environment. Fun is also a key factor. To that end she has fold-down terraces, an infinity pool, and a three-level stern terrace that cascades down into the sea.

Sanlorenzo SHE: Retro-Inspired Design With Five Hulls Already Sold

The much-anticipated SHE from Sanlorenzo was first unveiled as a concept in 2025. The model has distinctly classic lines inspired by 1960s Italian navettas. The minimalistic look has attracted many immediate admirers with five hulls already sold. The model also has a focus on sustainability. She has a highly fuel-efficient, hybrid pod setup by Volvo Penta, a zero-emission electric mode, and can run at hotel load using just her battery banks. She was also built using synthetic teaks and bio-based resins that were expressly designed to have minimal impact on the environment. For lovers of the past who are prone to keeping an eye on the future, this is an excellent model to keep in mind at the show.
