This past year was a great success for The Italian Yacht Group, with many more exciting things in the very near future.
The year 2024 was a banner one for IYG. As of press time the boutique brokerage house had $210 million in total sales with another $45 million pending. These numbers exceeded sales in a very strong 2023, which points to IYG’s continuing growth and emergence as a true player on the brokerage scene. The sales numbers are made all the more impressive when one considers that yacht sales are down as a whole across the industry.
Highlights this past year included 13 new deliveries, which accounted for half of IYG’s revenue. Some of the heavyweights the brokerage house brought into the world in 2024 included a 45-meter Tankoa, a 52-meter Baglietto, and a Rossinavi. For 2025 IYG already has four new-construction boats underway, including two Rossinavis, a Sanlorenzo, and a Wajer 77. More new yachts are in the pipeline as well, and should be confirmed in the coming months.
The mood at IYG is ever optimistic, as 2024 feels as though it’s a harbinger of big things to come. “I think one thing that’s really important to us right now is that the market for Italian yachts has really noticed us,” says Boomer Jousma. “People understand that we are the experts in Italian brokerage boats, and that will translate to more Italian new builds soon. We’ve also got our name trademarked now, which is something we are really proud of. The Italian shipyards know that The Italian Yacht Group is the brokerage house that they should be working with in America.”
Boomer and the rest of the IYG professionals would like to extend a sincere thank you to their clientele, as well as everyone else in the industry who are helping them on their path toward becoming the undisputed authority on Italian yachts bought and sold in America.
