With two major American boat shows coming up fast, IYG revs into high gear.
Boat show season in the U.S. is about to heat back up again with two heavy-hitter shows, Miami and Palm Beach, right around the corner. If you’re in the market to buy, sell, or build a yacht, making it to at least one of these shows is a no brainer. And when you do hit the docks, make sure to let IYG know so we can help you maximize your time. The Miami International Boat Show runs from February 14 th to 18 th and takes place in the heart of Miami. Though the show is a bit smaller than it’s been in years past, there are still plenty of interesting yachts to check out. IYG won’t have a stand at this show, but we will be walking the docks and would be happy to bring you along with us to check out the wares. Two boats Boomer Jousma is particularly looking forward to seeing at this show are the 2023 Benetti 34M Grateful and a Mangusta 110 from 2020. Each of these impressive Italian builds should see a hot market form around them quickly, so give Boomer a call if you’d like to be one of the first to view them.
One of the best things about the Miami show (besides the boats) is the food. As one of the world’s foremost cosmopolises the restaurant scene in the Magic City is truly vibrant. Some of IYG’s favorites include:
1. Klaw – known for fresh seafood and an inventive menu, as well as a popping rooftop scene
2. Casadonna – the celeb-friendly hotspot shares an owner with the legendary Carbone and is walking distance from the show.
3. Piegari – this see-and-be-seen Argentinian restaurant is a must if you’re in trendy Wynwood.
Once you’ve had your fill in Miami, it’s time to start thinking about Palm Beach. The most genteel of the top-tier American shows, the Palm Beach International Boat Show is most definitely on the come up. IYG has been hearing excited rumblings about his show’s potential from some of the industry’s biggest power players and smaller shops alike. As in years past, IYG will have a stand at the show with some truly exciting offerings. Right now we have slated a Sanlorenzo 126, Ferretti 85, Riva 68, and a Bluegame 72, and will have a fifth boat sorted by the time the show draws near.
As always at IYG, we are excited for the boat shows, and even more excited to see you there. If you’re going to be in town, give us a ring, and set up an appointment to get the full IYG treatment, with deep market insights and personalized attention you simply won’t find anywhere else.
