Dan Cope serves as the Italian Yacht Group’s Controller, bringing extensive expertise in finance and accounting to the team. Born and raised in a small town in Indiana, Dan’s journey toward his current role began with a strong educational foundation.
Dan’s pursuit of knowledge commenced at Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana, where he delved into the world of business for two years. Recognizing his passion for finance, he moved to Los Angeles, California, to further his education at Los Angeles Pierce College. There, he honed his skills and graduated with a BA in Business Economics, accompanied by a minor in accounting. Armed with his degree, Dan eagerly ventured into the competitive entertainment industry and after a series of interviews, he secured a position with IDC as a staff accountant. In this role, he assumed the responsibility of managing the payroll for the entire cast of the renowned network TV series, Roseanne.
As the Controller for the Italian Yacht Group, Dan leverages his experience to ensure the company’s financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. His keen eye for detail and strategic financial planning enables him to guide the organization toward sustainable growth and success.
