Princess V78 — Layout Overview

Lower Deck Accommodation

Master Stateroom (midships, full beam):

Spans the full width of the yacht, accessible via a private staircase and lobby. Includes a large double bed (storage underneath), walk-around space, a dressing table, sofa, built-in safe, and a generous en-suite bathroom with twin sinks, a spacious shower, and a walk-in wardrobe.

VIP Stateroom (forward):

Positioned in the bow, it offers a double bed with storage, wardrobe, dressing table with stool, deck hatch, and en-suite bathroom.

Guest Cabins (three variations):

One twin cabin with side-by-side single berths

One that features bunk beds

One convertible cabin (e.g., can function as a studio with a couch)
Each comes with its own en-suite bathroom.

Crew Cabin:
Located aft of the engine room, it offers two single berths and a separate bathroom. Crew access is discreet—via a transom door—ensuring privacy for both guests and crew.

Main (Deck) Salon & Galley

Deck Salon:

Spacious salon with low-level, contemporary furnishings. Features a U-shaped seating area, L-shaped dining with a glass table, sliding doors to the cockpit, an electric drop window, and an electrically opening roof.

Cockpit & Exterior Decks

Cockpit & Aft Deck:

Features a U-shaped seating/dining area, L-shaped seats, wet bar (with sink, coolbox, electric grill), sunbeds, and access to a tender garage via electro-hydraulic doors and winches. A bathing platform (400–900 kg capacity) with hot/cold shower and ladder enhances water access.

Equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines (each 1,825 hp), the V78 pushes speeds up to nearly 40 knots— very impressive for a vessel of this size.

Haul out at New Harbor Shipyard. Bottom paint and Prop speed on all hardware including swim platform. Upgraded transducer.

Haul out at Newport Harbor Shipyard and replace Stern Thruster. Paint Bottom.

New Gelcoat on Hull (not paint) Iridium Grey.

Soft Goods redone in salon.

Starlink Installed

Sonos System Installed.

2000 service on CAT engines. Valves adjusted.

Replaced Interior carpeting throughout.

8 person life raft serviced.

New Batteries

Heat Exchangers rebuilt on C32's.

New Headliner installed in staterooms.

All Dometic toilets rebuilt.

New Refrigerator in bar area behind helm.

New refrigerator in galley.

Major service on generator with new heat exchanger and manifold.

New Custom pillow top mattress in Master Stateroom.

Glass Sun Roof panels over helm tinting replaced.
