A Hamptons Summer 2026 Guide to Boats, Bites, & Events

|

The IYG team is looking forward to a fruitful summer in The Hamptons.

It’s that time of year again. The weather in Florida is about to be blistering and the larger yachts have all moved to the Med. The time is ripe for the IYG team to decamp to its summertime headquarters in the Northeast’s most lavish locale—The Hamptons.

The Hamptons function as America’s yachting capital during the warmer months. As such, it’s an ideal place to see some beautiful yachts and take client meetings. The latter is particularly looked forward to, not only because of the excellent company, but also because of the exceptional restaurants that dot the landscape Out East. We’ll get to those in a bit. First, let’s talk about what’s most important—the yachts—and specifically which ones will be making the Great Migration north from Florida to Long Island for the summer.

The Boats: IYG’s Summer 2026 Hamptons Lineup

IYG has a full selection of offerings on display this summer ranging from slick dayboats to highly capable motoryachts.

TAN LINES is a 2024 Vanquish VQ58 currently listed for $3.1 million. Her ice-blue hull is an immediate draw as are her Volvo Penta IPS950s which only have 225 hours on them. She also comes with a well-appointed VQ11 tender that helps make her a natural choice for scooting from waterside hotspot to waterside hotspot.

The 2018 Pershing 108 NAAV is a statement piece if there ever was one. With a total of 8,000-horsepower spread across three MTUs matched to surface drives, she can rocket across the water shooting off an iconic roostertail for all the world to see. Timeless interiors by Fulvio di Simoni add an elegant touch to this $5.95 million listing.

The latest addition to our inventory, RESOLUTE is the only Wajer 77 currently available in the U.S., and she’ll be heading north by the 4th of July. Delivered in 2025, this Dutch-built aluminum 77-footer pairs sleek exterior lines with a Sinot-designed interior that’s about as polished as it gets at this size. Triple Volvo Penta IPS1350s push her to a top speed of 37 knots, and a Seakeeper 18 keeps things composed when you slow down to enjoy the day. She sleeps six guests across three cabins, carries two Seabobs in the tender garage, and is offered duty-not-paid at $8.499 million.

DATE NIGHT is a 2018 Ferretti 920 that packages Italian style with legitimate cruising bona fides. The yacht features a full-beam master with multiple VIPs counted among her five total staterooms. She also has an excellent stabilization system that will keep everyone aboard comfortable and happy even in a chop. She’s currently listed for $4.999 million.

KATSEA is another offering from Vanquish, this one a 2021 45 T-Top. This dayboat has an open layout and a gyrostabilizer that make her ideal for a day spent on the hook. And when the sun goes down her custom underwater lights will dazzle. She has a price of $1.299 million.

Lastly the Hatteras 80 OUTRAGEOUS presents a great value play for someone looking for a spacious and highly cruisable yacht. She’s had the same captain and owner since she was delivered, and was subsequently well taken care of, including engines that were rebuilt 400 hours ago. At $2.599 million she is a lot of yacht for the money.

The Beacon, Sag Harbor Cove Yacht Club

The Events: What’s Going On Out East This Summer

When you’re done yacht shopping and it’s time for a bite and something cold to drink, IYG has some favorite places that never disappoint.

The Beacon is a perennial favorite just a short walk from the IYG office in Sag Harbor. Known for its cocktails, seafood, and a beautiful view of the harbor, it’s a staple of the IYG summer.

Also walkable from the IYG office is Tutto il Giorno, a very stylish Italian spot popular among Hamptons scenesters. Try the Rigatoni and thank us later.

One chic but lowkey spot that IYG’s Patrick Hopkins loves in particular is The Shark Bar. This place has elevated bar food and is located on The Stretch en route to Montauk. It’s an excellent place for a recharge.

Another Montauk favorite for Hopkins is Duryea’s Lobster Deck. During the summer he lives 40-feet away, and can’t decide if the lobster roll or the sunset is better.

Le Bilboquet in Sag Harbor will make you feel like you hopped a flight to Nice the day before. The Mediterranean vibes are strong at this dockside favorite. It has good food and better people watching.

For a romantic night out, try the Crow’s Nest, situated on Lake Montauk. The views here are impeccable, as are the boho-chic vibes and the lobster tagliatelle.

One new place IYG is looking forward to checking out is Zagara, the restaurant at the Faraway Hotel in Sag. With an Amalfi-inspired, seafood-forward menu, this restaurant has the town talking.

A second opening we are looking forward to is Alba Spiaggia at the Montauk Yacht Club. That’s an absolutely prime location to mangia what is expected to be top-notch Italian fare.

Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, Southampton, NY

The Events: What’s Going On Out East This Summer

Summer is also prime time for events on Long Island. Golfers will enjoy the beautiful surroundings and elite competition at the U.S. Open, held at Shinnecock in mid-June. The Hampton Classic is a can’t miss horse show held in late August. And of course, The Bridge is an epic car show held in September. The only problem with it is that it coincides with the Cannes Yachting Festival. Decisions, decisions.

Find the IYG Team Out East

Most of the IYG team will be heading north shortly, save for Vittoria Santarone, who will be undertaking her annual tour of European shipyards again this summer. New hire Robbie Laguardia will be making his first appearance out east with the team, and we are excited to introduce him to one of the most beautiful places in this great big country of ours. If you’ll be headed to the Hamptons this summer please reach out to your IYG contact and we’d be thrilled to meet up and talk boats and anything else that might pique your interest. See you out east!
