Alloy Line
Sanlorenzo Alloy Line
The Sanlorenzo Alloy line is a range of all-aluminium, fast-displacement superyachts built at the Sanlorenzo shipyard in La Spezia, Italy. Born from the spirit of the original SL planing yachts, the line is defined by its “villa on the sea” architecture, using inventive spatial layouts to bring megayacht amenities into a more agile package. Its flagship, the multi-award-winning 44Alloy, anchors the range with a three-level owner’s suite, a 105-sqm beach club, and top speeds above 21 knots. The Alloy line suits owners who want a sporty profile with the volume, light, and design freedom of a fully custom build.
Primary Benefits of the Sanlorenzo Alloy Design
The Alloy line is built around open space, natural light, and direct contact with the water. Its lightweight aluminium construction brings together speed, efficiency, and architectural freedom in a single platform. Here is what each signature feature delivers aboard.

The Villa on the Sea
The 44Alloy is a 44.5-meter, 490 GT superyacht built entirely of aluminium and designed with Zuccon International Project. Its defining feature is a 147-sqm owner’s suite spanning three levels, complete with a private plunge pool, a mezzanine gym or study, and direct access to a forward owner’s deck. Twin MTU engines drive it past 21 knots, while a lateral tender garage frees the entire stern for a 105-sqm three-way beach club, hosting 10 guests with a 2,000-nautical-mile range.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Alloy line’s all-aluminium construction and fast-displacement hull deliver megayacht-scale space and amenities on a sub-50-meter platform, with a shallower draft and lighter crew and operating profile than a larger steel vessel. Its signature tri-level owner’s suite and three-way beach club bring architectural features rarely seen below 60 meters into a more agile yacht.
The 44Alloy is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, reaching a top speed of 21 to 23 knots and cruising at 18 knots. At an economical 11 knots, it delivers a range of approximately 2,000 nautical miles, enough for transatlantic passages and extended Mediterranean or Caribbean seasons.
Sanlorenzo builds every yacht to order, and the 44Alloy is no exception. Past builds feature interiors by Zuccon International Project, Michele Bonan, and Liaigre, with layout configurations, material palettes, technical systems, and deck programming all tailored to the owner from the earliest stages of the build.
Aluminium construction reduces displacement, which raises top speed, improves fuel efficiency, and allows shallower-water access than a steel hull of similar size. It also keeps a sleek, sporty profile while supporting the large windows and expansive deck volumes that define the line.
