Stepping aboard 'Louise', you are welcomed via a wide teak-laid swim platform, leading through a starboard-side entry into the cockpit. This thoughtful layout allows for an expansive L-shaped transom seating area, ideal for entertaining and easily convertible into a generous daybed for relaxed afternoons at anchor. The standard Palm Beach cockpit bimini provides excellent protection from the Australian elements, while removable three-sided cockpit clears can be fitted to create a well-sheltered outdoor living space for cruising in less favourable weather. The cockpit is well-appointed with practical storage and service amenities, including a portside wet bar complete with sink, storage, Isotherm ice maker, and an Isotherm under-bench fridge and freezer to starboard, ensuring refreshments are always close at hand. Beneath the teak sole, a substantial lazarette is accessed via four large deck hatches, providing exceptional storage capacity for extended cruising.
Moving forward, the signature saloon bulkhead with centreline door and refined timber detailing opens into a light-filled, open-plan living space. Large windows on all sides invite an abundance of natural light, enhancing the warm, inviting ambience that defines 'Louise'. The galley-down configuration maximises the saloon's usability, offering generous lounging and dining zones with flexible arrangements. To starboard, a foldable dining table is paired with a spacious L-shaped lounge, while an additional L-shaped lounge to port creates a highly sociable setting, perfect for entertaining or unwinding. A Hi/Lo TV is discreetly positioned in front of the port lounge for comfortable viewing.
The helm station, located to starboard, features a wide bench seat for both the captain and companion, with an ergonomic layout designed for effortless operation. 'Louise' is equipped with a comprehensive Raymarine navigation suite, including GPS plotter, sounder, radar, and autopilot. Overhead hatches, electric side windows to both port and starboard, and twin electric hi/lo aft saloon windows provide excellent visibility, natural ventilation, and a seamless connection to the surrounding environment. Docking is made simple with the addition of Max Power bow and stern thrusters.
Stepping down to the lower deck, the galley is positioned to port and is both functional and well-equipped for extended stays aboard. Features include an Isotherm under-bench fridge, Miele microwave, Miele two-element induction cooktop, Nespresso coffee machine, and a cleverly integrated benchtop rubbish bin. Ample storage is provided for provisions, while a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawer ensures clean-up is effortless after entertaining.
Opposite the galley to starboard is the main head, finished with signature Palm Beach teak flooring, a satin teak toilet seat, and a separate tempered glass shower stall.
'Louise' is configured with a forward master cabin, offering a comfortable and private retreat. The island double berth is complemented by generous storage, including a mirrored hanging wardrobe and additional cabinetry. Climate control is assured with air conditioning, while a Webasto diesel air heater provides additional warmth and comfort throughout the interior of the vessel during cooler weather. A large overhead hatch provides natural light and ventilation when preferred. For additional guests, the saloon offers flexible sleeping arrangements with pullout berths, enhancing her versatility for overnight stays.
The engine room houses twin shaft drive Yanmar 6LY3 engines, delivering reliable and efficient performance synonymous with the Palm Beach name. A late model Kohler generator supports onboard systems, including air conditioning when away from the dock, while an Aqua-Matic Sea Recovery 120LPH water maker ensures extended self-sufficiency.
Forward on the bow, 'Louise' is equipped with a 30kg/66lb stainless steel Claw anchor, connected to a Muir vertical windlass with 10mm chain, providing confidence and ease when anchoring.
