SILVER LINING is a 2016 (model 2017) 50m Christensen. SILVER LINING was the largest volume Christensen to be built to date, boasting 6,860 square feet under air with an additional 4,420 square feet of exterior space. Her large volume is in part due to her full beam skylounge, full beam master on-deck, and full beam VIP. Her desirable design is made of six spacious staterooms, accommodating 16 guests. The guest staterooms are made up of an on-deck master with king berth, his and her bathroom with shower and bathtub, two large walk-in closets and ample storage. The full beam VIP is found below and aft. The VIP has a king berth, larger bathroom with dual sinks, shower and bathtub with ample closets and storage. There are two additional king berth staterooms on the lower deck amidship to port and starboard. They are both spacious cabins with large bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. Both have hanging lockers, settee and ample storage. There are two additional guest cabins forward on the lower deck. Both have a full and single berth with pullman. Both have a large bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. All guest cabins have a complete entertainment system for TV, movies and music. The guest corridor offers access from the crew quarters to the guest area for ease of cleaning and requested services.
In addition to the spacious guest layout SILVER LINING has an excellent crew layout with six-cabins accommodating 11 crew members. There is a large captain’s cabin behind the pilothouse, four crew cabins forward of the spacious, fully equipped, crew mess with a 6th crew cabin was custom built aft, near the lazarette. The 11 crew results in the best service guests can receive whether for private or charter use.
When entering the vessel onto the aft deck one will be received with a large deck area with a built-in settee and two teak tables with 4 chairs, a perfect place for breakfast or lunch. This area proves a great gathering place with a full bar and 3 bar stools. From the aft deck one can enter the main salon through two large automatic doors with two floors to ceiling glass panels either side. The main salon is large, light and airy with large windows on either side with views of the water from any seat. The interior wood throughout the vessel is a high gloss Black Walnut. The marble throughout the vessel was handpicked with the best quality in mind. Once in the main salon one is greeted with a beautiful marble foyer. Continuing forward one will find a 3-seat sofa, 4 chairs and coffee table all in a light and neutral color. Further forward, one will find a half partition that includes storage and a pop-up TV. Forward of the partition one will find formal dining with a larger custom table accommodating 12 guests. To port and forward of the dining area one will find a solid automatic door separating the serving pantry and galley from the dining area. The pantry is full-service along with the large professional galley.
Going forward to starboard of the dining area one will reach a formal foyer with access to the vessel through a formal entry from the starboard deck. From here one will have access to the lower and upper decks, the main deck elevator and main deck day head. Going forward from the formal foyer one will reach the master study. Forward of the study one will enter the full beam master stateroom with his and her bath forward with shower, bathtub, and two large walk-in closets. Back at the main deck foyer one can go down to the guest accommodations to find a full beam VIP, two king berth guest staterooms and two forward guest staterooms all ensuite. Making one’s way up from the main deck to the bridge deck one will reach the upper deck foyer with a day head and elevator. From here one can go forward to the Pilothouse or aft to a huge full beam skylounge. The skylounge has a beautiful built-in bar with an Onyx top and eight custom swivel bar stools. Forward of the bar to starboard is a small dining table for 6 guests.
To port there is a large L-shaped settee with coffee table. This is a great place to watch TV or a movie on the large TV on the forward skylounge bulkhead. Aft of the settee to port is a game table with 4 chairs. The window in the skylounge is large and low to make for a view outside from any seat. Continuing aft in the skylounge one will reach the entrance that give access to the large bridge deck aft by going through two large automatic doors with two floor-to-ceiling glass panels on either side. Here one will find a teak table with seating for 12. This area is perfect for evening dining with temperature control for cool air or heating from above the dining area. There is additional casual seating aft of the dining table with a service bar forward and to port. There is a set of custom sliding opening glass windows outboard either side of the bridge deck aft dining area to shelter guests from any breeze as needed.
From the bridge deck aft one can take the exterior stairs down to the aft main deck or up to the sundeck. Up on the sundeck one will find a large deck perfect for entertaining with a huge bar that seats 8, a large U-shaped settee with coffee table to port, and forward a Jacuzzi for 8 people. There is a conveniently placed day head to port. The aft part of the sundeck is very spacious, perfect for lounging or dancing with a band. This area is also designed for a touch and go Heli pad. If one makes their way down the stairs to the aft deck one can continue down to the large swim platform. This is the perfect place to board the tender or the assorted water toys activities. From here there is access to the lazarette and engine room.
The crew enter the vessel through from the port deck where they have their own corridor from to all decks making so they do not have to go through guest areas.
