The Usual is a beautiful, well-equipped, and maintained 82 Horizon motor yacht with an enclosed flybridge pilothouse. Throughout her time, she spent 17 years in freshwater before coming down to South Florida, keeping her away from the saltwater elements for most of her life. She offers a spacious 3-stateroom, 4-head layout, with separate crew quarters aft and down by the engine room. Her CAT 3412E engines just received all-new exhaust components, and are running strong and flawlessly. Since 2018, The Usual has received several key upgrades and services. All new helm electronics, radar, FLIR in 2018, and she has received over $450k in services/upgrades over the last 14 months. She shows exceptionally well for her age. An extensive Excel spreadsheet lists jobs performed, completed, and cost.
If you’re in the market for a nice motor yacht that can serve well as a liveaboard, a charter operation, and/or recreational use, The Usual checks all the boxes and is ready for her next owner.

Coming aboard The Usual is done from either the starboard or port side bulwark doors with boarding passerelle where the aft main deck welcomes you. This space is great for outside dining, and entertaining having a large settee, a large table, teak decks, overhead, and recessed lighting. The two bulwark doors aft lead down to the transom swim platform. Moving forward from the aft main deck you have a sliding glass door providing access to the yacht’s interior, and foredeck walkways both starboard and port to access midship and the bow.
Entering the interior from the main aft deck you are welcomed by the salon. One of the first things you will recognize is the natural light coming from the large windows both starboard and port making the headliners, Cherrywood cabinetry all pop. To port there are stairs that lead down to the crew quarters and engine room. Forward to port a large sofa and hi-gloss Cherrywood table. Starboard is a large counter with several of cabinets below all with different features, and a pop-up TV with Sonos sound system.
Forward of the salon is the galley. Immediately to port is where all of the cooking appliances, refrigeration and freezers are located. The vessel’s day head is starboard. A dinette with barstools, and settee is all the way forward. Port and starboard midship doors to access the foredeck. Starboard aft stairs lead to enclosed flybridge pilothouse, starboard steps forward lead to the companionway and staterooms. Going outside either midship door, the foredeck takes you up to the bow, where you have a large sunpad, settee, and your anchor equipment.
Coming down the forward staircase, you’re entering the companionway, owners and guest staterooms. Full beam master aft with centerline king bed, Cherrywood cabinetry, and his & hers separate heads. To port is the side by side twin berths stateroom with an ensuite head. All the way forward is the VIP stateroom with a centerline queen bed, Cherrywood cabinetry, and an ensuite head.
Going up the aft staircase from the galley takes you to the enclosed bridge pilothouse. In this space, you will find the main helm station with state-of-the-art Garmin electronics to ensure proper navigation. There is also a settee with a hi-gloss teak table, captain’s desk, Samsung TV, and aft sliding glass door to access the aft deck.
