Tankoa Yachts has sold the first hull from its all-new 45-metre superyacht series, the T450. She’s been snapped up by a North American client, who’ll receive her in 2023. The owner was introduced to the T450 and the Genoese shipbuilder by Boomer Jousma and Vittoria Santarone from the Italian Yacht Group in Fort Lauderdale.
The T450 is designed inside and out by esteemed designer Giorgio M. Cassette, who opted for bold clean lines for the exterior, giving her an elegance and poise befit a Tankoa build. Inside, the T450 is starkly modern and is said to be perfectly in line with the needs of the owner and his family.
“It has been a real pleasure to work with this client and his team,” Claudio Corvino, Tankoa’s Sales Manager commented. “He came out with brilliant ideas and Giorgio Cassetta turned them into a fantastic final design and layout”.
At the owner’s request, the T450 will be highly customised to meet his needs. She’ll have much larger windows than initially intended on the main deck, she’ll also feature an extended upper deck saloon, boosting the gross tonnage from 435 GT to 450 GT. Her other stand out features include an open air cinema, a large beach club, a gym, firepit and a spacious sundeck equipped with a Jacuzzi.
The owner will benefit from an exclusive master suite on the main deck. His guests can stay in one of the five staterooms on the lower deck.
“We are looking forward to a pleasant and fun building process all together,” Corvino concluded. “We are also proud to have sold this yacht to a client who will certainly help to develop our presence even further in the American market”.
